Jumping Point - Canon Rebel T3
Having a boat now affords me the opportunity to get shots of different angles and perspectives that I have ever been afforded before. I look forward to this new availability and adventures.
Jumper- Canon Rebel T3
In the middle of the St Joseph River, near Berrien Springs Mi, there are these old railroad pillars that stand like Sentinels watching over the river. Once upon a time, the Interurban railway made its way through this area. Beginning in 1898 it ran through cities in Southwestern Lower Michigan (Berrien County) through Northern Indiana, (Laporte and St Joseph County) and into Chicago. The Interurban railway service was abandoned and replaced with buses in 1934.
As many of the things that attract my attention, a part of our history that stands to fall into ruins.
Fisherman - Canon Rebel T3
Came across two men fly fishing on the St. Joseph River near Berrien Springs Mi. I did not have their permission to photograph, but snagged the opportunity to get a candid shot without the person posing. I have always had a keen interest in the sport of fly fishing. Someone was going to teach me once, but I guess we never got around to it.
